Golden Angels Investors began in 2002 with the goal of helping capital formation for entrepreneurs in the Midwest. In 2012, it was one of the twelve most active groups in the United States according to a study jointly sponsored by Silicon Valley Bank and the Angel Resource Institute. Its members are or have been founders, CEOs, venture capitalists and business leaders. They bring a track record of success and a willingness to assist entrepreneurs in building great companies. Golden Angels Investors is not a fund; its members make individual investment decisions under terms negotiated with entrepreneurs. The opportunity assessment and review processes are member led. As the lead investor we provide board directors with specific industry expertise and connections to our broad network for business development.
