Afke Zonderland is the enthusiastic chef behind OKANAGAN RAWSOME. She regularly hosts raw food workshops across Western Canada, promoting a plant-passionate foodie lifestyle, while sharing tasty recipes that win over even the most skeptical taste buds. Upon realizing there was a serious lack of tasty, raw, gluten-free foods available to health-conscious consumers, Afke decided to fill the gap in this exciting new market. She set out to create nutrient rich, easily digestible, and delicious raw snacks to replace traditional cookies and crackers. The result of her journey is OKANAGAN RAWSOME and our popular raw CRISPS! Our products are in over 100 stores across Western Canada. The phenomenal growth we're experiencing suggests that more and more Canadians are searching for healthier food options! Krumbleez and Flax crisps are dehydrated to pure perfection. We soak all the nuts and seeds and add nothing but organic apples and carrots from the Okanagan, except lentils and love.
