I have always been intrigued by the concept and applications of "stewardship." Every culture has a basic value of "taking care of things" although the process and outcome of "caretaking" may be wildly different from culture to culture. From childhood my stewardship thinking was shaped by a Christian Biblical perspective. In college I studied anthropology and education at the University of Colorado and noticed that stewardship is a cross-cultural value system for "taking care of things." The priorities, processes and outcomes may be different, but everybody is concerned with taking care of something. My Personal Life Mission (PLM) is: I facilitate positive personal development in myself and others by applying and teaching creative, competent, informed and efficient resource stewardship. (winter 2000). Our Kirtland Realty Company mission statement is: Our mission is to provide the best quality real estate services to our clients, customer, neighbors and community to help ourselves and other achieve the American dream. (2002). My ECOBroker Value Offered Statement is: I offer the ECOBroker advantage to give my customers and clients smart green choices and money saving alternatives. (Fall, 2008). My goal is always to optimize the relationship between God, science, business and human nature.
