Textiles Opico SA de CV “TexOps” is an El Salvador-based active and sports apparel manufacturing company formed in 2009 by two well-known apparel industry veterans, David Ha and Juan Zighelboim. Juan’s expertise and portfolio is anchored in the active and sports apparel market, whereas David is diversified beyond apparel into packaging, real estate, among other interests. Each has over 20 years experience as founders and owners of heir respective apparel businesses, making great products for the likes of Academy Sports + Outdoors, Dick´s Sporting Goods, Castelli, 5.11 Tactical, Blackhawk! Soffe, Asics, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Reebok, and The Dallas Cowboys. The partners have been long standing members of the American Apparel Producers Network "AAPN" and participate in key industry events such as the AAPN Annual Meeting (Miami, NYC, L.A.), Outdoor Retailer Show, Apparel Magazine Executive Forum, ISPO, the PGA Show, Sustainable Brands Conference and the Not For Sale Global Forum on Human Trafficking. Always the ones looking to learn better practices across the globe; they've attended events such as Hong Kong's Prime Source Forum, The Sri Lanka Design Festival, among others closer to home. On a global scale, TexOps is considered one of the finest, most complete and certainly most modern knitted apparel factories. Along with proximity to the U.S.A., TexOps is fortunate to have been positioned as the "Go-To" factory for its select customer partners.
