What began in 1996 as a family hobby in a basement kitchen is now a growing corporation producing all-natural products in an 120,000 square foot building in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The company's original owners refined the products, creating pure, and often vegan formulas, of the highest quality ingredients. New owners purchased the company in January of 2003 and have focused their efforts on delivering quality products to their customer on time, incorporating the tried-and-true family recipes with luscious new creations. Raining Rose reflects its heartland location, incorporating natural vegetable oil and, whenever possible, organically grown ingredients. Products include virgin olive oil and pure aroma therapy-grade essential oils. Our packaging is renewable, and our products are cruelty free. We do test our products... on spouses and other loved ones, who smell really, really good as a result. What's up with the name? Rain and Rose are the middle names of the founding owners' two adorable daughters. We pride ourselves in honesty and integrity, and in creating products that are all-natural and crafted from the highest quality ingredients. While we strive to use as many organic contents as possible, we will not fudge on percentages to make artificial organic content claims. Instead, we believe in full ingredient disclosure, and labels that accurately reflect the organic content of our products.
