Created by Kara Gilbertson and Shelby Tuner one late June evening, The Attic Hair Studio, based in the heart of Kitsilano, is a subtle mix of Style, substance and smiling faces. The girls have kept true to the laid back surroundings of 4th Avenue, by using local companies and artisans and blending rustic with modern. The Studio boasts an eclectic mix of stylists ranging from new talent to well established, to suit all your hair dressing needs. Whether you are looking for a lavender ombre, quick root touch up or just a fringe trim, The Attic Hair Studio has got you covered. We are a full service salon, offering everything from head massages and deep conditioning treatments to balayage and extensions and everything in between. Each of our stylists have their own area of expertise and consultations are always complimentary so thereÕs no pressure to commit to anything. We have a range of stylists to suit every request and every price point: womenÕs hair cuts range from $55 Ð $75 and menÕs from $40-$50. Colour can range from a basic T-zone root touch up to a full head of highlights and prices start at $75 and go up depending on hair thickness, length and amount of product used. MenÕs and WomenÕs hair cuts are booked for an hour and colour appointments usually take at least 2 hours.
