Coup Salon

Coup Salon was established in the spring of 2009 by local hairstylist Rosie Zollinger. Having worked in many elite, impersonal salons Rosie's aim was to create an environment where clients could feel relaxed and comfortable, while having a personal interaction with their stylist. Since 2009 Coup has grown into a tight knit team of like-minded, creative individuals. In 2015 Chelsea and Andrea joined Rosie as owners, becoming the hands on team in the day-to-day running of the salon. The salon found it's ideal home nestled in a registered heritage building on Shanghai Alley, part of Vancouver's Historic Chinatown. It is intentionally furnished with reclaimed wood and re-purposed furniture, extending the life of existing items rather than accumulating new ones. It is important to us to reduce our environmental impact by making conscious efforts to recycle and re-purpose where possible. We have chosen the Davines product line because it balances beauty with sustainability, both on an individual and a global level. The result is a cozy, quiet confidence that we look forward to sharing with you!
