EcoZero was born because we realized that an incredible potential resource was being wasted in the BC area: used cooking oil. Founded in 2008, the company is an environmental recovery service specialist, offering waste oil recycling and renewable energy solutions. Over 700 clients, including restaurants, fast food chains, shopping centres, community centres, and food manufacturing facilities, trust us to efficiently collect and recycle their waste vegetable oil. Our focus is using waste vegetable oil in a safe and environmentally-responsible way. We believe used cooking oil is a valuable resource that should continue to benefit people in the BC area, so we make sure it’s used to produce biodiesel locally – not shipped to the U.S. as many of our competitors do.
