Cloverdale Fuel, has been in the wood by-products brokering and transport business since 1945 and has established itself as one of the most experienced and able businesses in the field. JDS Gill, founded the company with one truck and mill contract and it has expanded to the current large fleet size of trucks, trailers, log chippers, roll-off and disposal bins, loaders, excavators and tub grinders. Darcy Gill, the son of the owner has been involved in the wood waste and wood by-products business for over 45 years. We have grown our business and company, but this growth can largely be attributed to the success and acumen of our customers. We are pleased to say that some of our customers have been with us since the company began operations over sixty years ago. A lot of our own growth is an addendum to the growth of larger companies which we deal with. We grow with our customers, and as they have bought, expanded, or augmented their operations, we have been responsible for all transportation and wood waste issues or concerns. Our primary business revolves around the transport, disposal and sale of wood by-products. These products include: sawdust, shavings, hogged fuel, bark mulch, bark nuggets, mill-ends, wood-chips, pulp-chips, and pole-peelings. We haul this product from our various re-loads or mill-direct to customers throughout the Canada and the United States. Our customers are varied and include: Construction companies, Landscapers, Equestrian Centers, Agricultural and Cattle farmers, as well as Greenhouse growers, Sawmills, Pulp-Mills, General Waste Companies, Fiberboard plants, and Re-manufacturing plants, and Paper mills.
