Coastline Forestry Group Inc. (CFG) is an innovative, safe and efficient business that has been operating on the BC Coast since 2009. We started harvesting in the BC interior in 1996 and now work in and around Duncan, BC. CFG works with Island Fibre Ltd., Cutter Cove Logging Ltd. and Best Managed Forests Ltd. to provide a wider range of services for our clients. We are a stump to dump harvesting company with awareness of efficiency and innovation. We started harvesting in the BC interior in 1996. Our background in the forest industry includes forestry consulting and reforestation dating back to 1980. In 2015 we took delivery of the first Tigercat bar saw felling head sold in Canada. We have three 605 Southstar processing heads that were some of the first sold in Canada. In 2016 we made a large commitment to safer steep-slope harvesting with two Climbmax steep slope harvesters and two EMS Tractionline twin line winch-assist systems. Our New Zealand-designed EMS system was the first of it’s kind delivered to Canada. We value integrity, and creativity. We strive for excellence. Coastline measured its 4th greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory with Climate Smart for the 2017 fiscal year and achieved a 20% reduction in emissions per $1,000 revenue over its baseline inventory. Moving forward, Coastline will continue to focus reductions efforts on engaging staff and increasing transportation and harvesting-related efficiency. Coastline is Climate Smart certified for 2017.
