Vega began with a vision, determination, and a serendipitous relationship that bore the first Vega product, now called Vega One. After a year of product formulation and testing, the first version of Brendan’s nutritional shake was a close replica of Brendan’s favourite blender smoothie. Now available in its third generation of the formula, all the ingredients in Vega One nutritional shake were chosen by Brendan to work synergistically to nourish the body and reduce nutritional stress. And now Brendan doesn’t have to lug his old blender with him when he travels anymore. Our passion for plant-based nutrition is as much about empowering health as it is about supporting the health of our planet. But sustainability isn’t just about what goes into our products—sustainability must be part of everything we do. We want to be a company that leaves a net zero carbon footprint. There are no silver bullets—in life, or on our Journey to Zero—but every choice we make matters. Vega lives our commitment to constant improvement by pursuing perfection, one small change at a time. Each Vega One Nutritional Shake or Bar serving provides a foundation of plant-based whole food protein, Omega-3s, probiotics, greens, antioxidants, and more.  All of our products are gluten, dairy and soy free.
