Calvin Consulting performs air quality dispersion modeling and related services for industrial site and equipment operators. Modeling starts with obtaining facility and neighboring site data, ambient information, such as local weather and terrain data. We then use a regulator-sanctioned model to predict the impacts of facility operations and/or any proposed changes in operations on the air quality in the vicinity of the facility. This process is frequently required in obtaining government approval or permits for using the equipment on these sites. If air monitoring is required, Calvin Consulting also designs plans for satisfying these requirements.

Calvin Consulting provides some of the most experienced air quality dispersion meteorologists and modelers in Canada. Three of our five Principal Consultants have more than 85 years of combined dispersion modeling experience. We also have been hired to train personnel at Alberta Environment and Parks, the Alberta Energy Regulator, and Environment Canada in this science and modeling methodology.

Calvin Consulting prepares regulatory applications for approvals, performs environmental and regulatory compliance audits, and completes air emissions reporting.
